Ive been blessed I have lemon balm all over my place I never planted it . Ive been clipping it and hanging it yo dry so i can make tea. Never tried it before

I had a lot of sweet banana peppers last year, ended up slicing them, dehydrated them, grounded up in my ninja. They were delicious in sause, meat loaf, hamburger and hotdog sprinkles, salads, did the same with extra tomatoes

Also it makes a good bath tea. I Steeped it with rosemary and Oregano in the tub in a cheesecloth after doin yard work. I soaked and bathed (of course) and got out the tub feelin soooo relaxed. It's also super delicious as a drinking tea but u already know that😊

Just to save you the suspense... the feeders are not squirrel proof. Squirrels are crafty little buggers and will figure out the most complicated feeders. The best bet is to look at the furry little tree rats and accept that they're there to stay. That said, if you want a feeder to be strictly for the birds, use straight safflower seed. The squirrels will leave it alone. This will limit what birds visit that feeder (for me it is Carolina Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse and Cardinal), but at least you won't be constantly refilling the feeder. For my wife and I, we just decided to set up a separate feeder for the squirrels with feed they prefer over the bird seed. It doesn't stop them, but at least they don't beeline to the bird feeders.

Just saw another video earlier about blending fresh mint leaves and water to use in a spray bottle as a bug/bird deterrent. It doesn’t affect the taste of the berries and just needs to be rinsed when you’re ready to eat ✌️🌱 hope this helps!

Yes, I keep a hoodie outside in the garden for that reason. I don't like mosquitoes or any other bugs touching my skin.

I've been wining about our cloudy, cool and windy days lately but today it was much warmer - time to water! Fortunately nothing seems to bite me (my dad always said I wasn't sweet enough) but just to "be safe" I sometimes rub my skin with generic Vick's Vapor rub as it has scents many things like mosquitos don't like, and it's moisturizing. Or I get Aroma guru oils at Dollar Tree. Bees definitely don't bother me, but especially since the West Nile Virus problems here several years ago, I'm very wary of mosquitoes.
